This weatherproof clock connects to your iPhone or Android smartphones. It calculates each employee’s work hours in a matter of seconds right on your phone. It’s so simple that you don’t even need a computer. 

The employees clock in and clock out by tapping their house-key sized iButton to the clock. The Supervisors can download the processed data straight into the free TimePilot app. All you need is the Bluetooth wireless technology built into gadgets.

Time Pilot Extreme Blue II Enhanced

Extreme Blue II EnhancedThe Extreme Blue II Enhanced sends data to your smartphone or PC. It prepares a report while exporting data to your payroll software and services. This system gives you the opportunity to handles many sites and clocks.

The supervisors can make necessary corrections within the app, and with a tap, upload it. The central software now retrieves the data, for the corrections.

Time Pilot Vetro

Time Pilot VetroPeople say that the Vetro is the best-looking clock system ever built by Time pilot. Intended for indoor use, the Vetro system features a cool blue touchscreen.

It collects the data with the included USB drive, or you can plug the clock into your local area network. Vetro develops statements or exports to payroll software or services in instants. 

When TimePilot Vetro isn’t in use, all you see on the sleek black touchscreen is time and date. If you touch the face of the clock or place an iButton to one of the probes, the backlit blue keypad lights up.

With the iButtons, you’re clocked in or out immediately. But with the four-digit ID number all you need is to touch the “IN” or OUT” button. The clock is about the size of a paperback book. It has no moving parts and contains an internal battery to keep accurate time even if your power goes off.

The Vetro clocks can operate in two different modes “standalone” or “networked.” Here’s how the modes work

Standalone Mode

Standalone ModeThis clock holds the data in memory (it can hold as many as 12,000 clock-ins and clock-outs). During payroll, a supervisor inserts the TimePilot USB drive into the port on the side of the clock. Next, he or she inputs a password on the keypad and loads the data onto the USB drive.

The software automatically downloads the data into the TimePilot database. The supervisor is now enabled to view their regular-time, overtime, and special-time hours. 

Network Mode

The memory of this connects to your company’s local area network. The clock-ins and out is then transferred to the TimePilot database. All this works using the TimePilot software password-protection. They also can see their regular-time, overtime, and special-time hours. Here, the supervisor generates reports and export the data to their payroll software. 

Even when the network signal drops, the tracking process doesn’t have to stop. The data gets saved in the clock’s memory until the network comes back up. Another option is using, the TimePilot USB drive to download it to the software.

Time Pilot Tap plus

Time Pilot Tap plusThe TimePilot Tap plus has crossed the shores of mediocrity, compared to other of its kind. Though small enough to fit in a pocket, it is powerful enough to handle up to 2,000 employees.

The rechargeable battery can last for a year on 1 charge. The Tap plus, comes with the same software as Extreme Blue Enhanced and Vetro.

But like its predecessors, it frees you from the error-prone task of using timecards. You can finally say goodbye to such a time-consuming task.

Time Pilot PC

Time Pilot PCThe hallmark of this product is its great flexibility, all you need is to put one at every employee’s desk! The Time Pilot PC cannot be work outdoor as it functions within the safety of an office. So this system would be more suitable for formal settings.

It comes in two versions, one with a single-seat license and another with a five-seat license. The single-seat license means the software can be installed on one computer at a time. The five-seat license allows installation on five computers. 

The employees use their mouse to clock in and out by clicking on the image of the timeclock on the computer screen. You then can clock in with an ID number shown on the computer screen. Data then gets sent to the TimePilot software, which calculates the work hours in seconds.

How to set up the TimePilot Central.

TimePilot CentralFor the clock to work on your device, download the app from your Google play store or the iOS app store. Note, all the clocking systems have to connect to the TImePilot central. Follow these steps to configuring your TimePilot.

Install The Software

  • Place the CD into your computer’s CD drive. The installation program should start automatically. Click the “Install TimePilot Software” button. 
  • The program will check your system to see if it already contains the appropriate drivers. If you’re missing any drivers, you’ll be offered the opportunity to install them now. Click “Next” to see a list of the missing drivers.
  • Click the “Next” button to install the drivers. When you’re done, click “Finish.” Continue with the installation as guided by the on-screen instructions. When the screen at right appears, then click “Exit.” Once the TimePilot software has been installed you’ll see the icon on your desktop.

Configure the TimePilot Software

Once the software and drivers are installed on your PC, you can start setting up your software. 

  • Now, double-click on the TimePilot Central icon on your desktop. The initial moment you start the software, you’ll be asked if you want to create or open a TimePilot database. Click the “Create a new TimePilot database…”. Once you created your database, your company can be set up using the TimePilot Setup Wizard.
